Our journey today was a 3 hour flight to Carns (Cans) and then about a 2 hour bus ride along the scenic Captain Cook highway, to our resort for the next 5 nights, the Sea Temple Resort. A 5 star Beach hotel. Our room was great! We even had a spa in the bathroom and our patio had stairs to the lagoon. 
After arriving and getting settled in the room, we had the afternoon to ourselves. As it was late we decided not to go to the Wildlife Park, but instead we took a walk to 
the beach with Brian.
After supper we had a lecture about the eclipse and what to expect. Then it was an early nite as we had to be up by 3 am! So off to bed we went.
