End of 2015

Today begins the end of 2015! A year that saw us traveling to Oregon to work and witness our grandsons wedding. A year that saw us trade the Saturn for a pickup truck and a ramp system for our Can Am Spyder. A year that allowed us to see whales every day for a month! It has been a good year.

We left Oregon and headed to Coeur d’alene Idaho. This was a scheduled stop on our way to Boise, Idaho to visit with our Rincon neighbors. While there we took a riverboat cruise along the river. A little cool but turned out nice. 

We finally arrived in Eagle, Idaho at a great rv park, not too far from our friends. We enjoyed spending time with Darrell and Judi, Jim and Seline, and Ben and Joann! Thanks for the hospitality.while there we visited the World Center for Birds of Prey. Our friend Diann Stone works there and we were able to see her show and explain about a hawk. Later we watched as several hawks and falcons were flown.

We left Boise area and started our journey to Tucson, arriving on October 16th. Along the way we had a shock break and were able to find a great rv repair shop in Kingman, Az, that got us back on the road super quick!

We now have been at Rincon since the 16th of October and so far it has been a good winter, although right now we are going through a cold spell! Low 50’s doing the day and below freezing at night. Soon to warm up.

So as we finish 2015, we look forward to 2016. We will be working again at Stub Stewart SP in Oregon for 2 months and then a month in Port Orford, Oregon at the Hughes House leading tours. In August we are planning a cruise to Alaska for our 25th wedding anniversary.
